Youngster Asprilla is for his part fresh off something of a breakout campaign last time out.
All told, the Colombian, still just 20, racked up six goals and seven assists in the Championship, with his eye for the spectacular in particular having piqued the attentions of a whole host of clubs.
And, on Thursday, one such side have wrapped up a deal for his services.
As per a report from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Girona have agreed [a] deal to sign Yaser Asprilla from Watford, here we go! Girona won the competition of several clubs to sign [the] Colombian talent.’
Asprilla, who generally operates on the right wing before cutting in onto his trusty left foot, is expected to touch down in Catalunya today, ahead of undergoing medical tests, and penning terms with Míchel’s side.
