Eric García hasn’t quite been the key starter for Barcelona this season that he will have hoped to have been. He has made only 11 appearances this season, with only four of them being starts.
Because of this, Girona have began looking into possibly bringing the 23-year-old back, after his successful loan spell at the club last season.
As per Cadena SER, the move could be made for around €10 million, but this will only be the case if Barça are successful in getting Dani Olmo and Pau Victor registered.
Should Hansi Flick be without those two players, it is unlikely the German coach will permit his club to lose any more members of their squad, and the move will be shot down before it has even gotten off the ground.
Given the lack of playing time for García, he will likely be interested in making the move happen, so it could be a good idea to watch this space over the next month to see if anything materialises between the two Catalan clubs.
