Girona in ‘final stages’ of talks for Tottenham star | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Girona are closing on the signature of a member of the attacking ranks at Tottenham Hotspur.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Bryan Gil as the player in question.

The name of winger Gil has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Girona over the course of the last 48 hours.

This comes after word was forthcoming in the media that the brass at the Estadi Montilivi had set their sights firmly on the signature of the 23-year-old.

Still considered to be on the periphery when it comes to the attacking options at Premier League outfit Tottenham for next season, Gil is understood to be eager to secure a return to his home country.

And Girona are pushing to provide the Spanish international with precisely that.

As per the aforementioned Fabrizio Romano:

‘Negotiations between Girona and Tottenham for Bryan Gil [are] advancing to the final stages.’

The transfer, should it come to fruition, is expected to come in the form of a loan, featuring an option to buy.
