Coming into the 2024/25 season, Real Madrid are competing for as many as seven trophies, one of which they already won this week by lifting the UEFA Super Cup.

Retaining their La Liga and UEFA Champions League crowns will undoubtedly be the main aim for Carlo Ancelotti & co. while they will also hope to emerge triumphant in the Copa del Rey after facing an early exit last time out.

The Spanish Super Cup also remains firmly within their grasp, needing them to win only two games in the month of January.

The final two competitions Real Madrid would be featuring in, are the the new FIFA Intercontinental Trophy as well as the FIFA Club World Cup with a new format.

Real Madrid set goal to win Club World Cup

Now, MARCA reports that winning the FIFA Club World Cup in its new format is one of Real Madrid’s main objectives for the 2024/25 season.

This season will see the first edition of the new FIFA Club World Cup, wherein the event will bring together 32 teams from the six continental confederations – with 12 representatives coming from UEFA, one of which happens to be Real Madrid.

The tournament will be played between mid-June and July 2025 in the United States and Real Madrid have made it a key aim of theirs to win the new FIFA Club World Cup in both sporting and branding terms.

Los Blancos earned automatic qualification to the tournament by virtue of being winners of the UEFA Champions League in 2021/22 and 2023/24 and are intent on achieving success in the competition in the summer of next year.
