On Saturday, the National Womenās Soccer League saw a top-table clash as KC Current and Orlando Pride faced off.
Both teams were undefeated after 16 matches and things were dramatic at CPKC Stadium.
Orlando Pride opened the scoring when Barbra Banda pounced on a loose ball for her 12th goal of the season and took the solo lead in the Golden Boot race.
However, KC Current took less than two minutes to equalize through Temwa Chawinga. The striker pulled off a beautiful solo run and finished expertly for her 12th of the season as well.
Impressively, the equalizer after 1:44 was the second-fastest reply after conceding in the NWSL this season. Chawinga scored the quickest, too (1:22).
Defender Carrie Lawrence was later sent off with a second yellow just before the half-time whistle. Yet despite the disadvantage, Orlando Pride managed to walk away victorious when Marta converted from the spot.
The visitors subsequently sit top of the table while KC Current suffered their first loss of the season.
