Granada announce signing of Villarreal star | OneFootball

Granada have on Thursday announced the signing of a member of the midfield ranks at La Liga rivals Villarreal.

The player in question? Manu Trigueros.

Midfielder Trigueros is for his part regarded as something of a legend amongst all of a Villarreal persuasion.

This comes with the 32-year-old having spent the entirety of his senior career to date plying his trade in the colours of the Yellow Submarine.

Almost 500 appearances later, and with a Europa League title under his belt, though, Trigueros, as alluded to above, has this week called time on his time at La Cerámica.

This comes with the Spaniard having come to the decision to pen terms with another of La Liga’s clubs, in Granada.

As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of the Nazaríes:

‘Granada Club de Fútbol has reached an agreement with Villarreal Club de Fútbol for the transfer of Manu Trigueros to the red-and-white club for the next two seasons.’
