The Green Brigade have taken aim at the Celtic Board over their refusal to allow a tifo for Saturday’s game against Hibs. Brendan Rodgers’ side return to Celtic Park after winning the title against Dundee United and following that up with a draw at Ibrox last weekend.
In a statement on Friday evening, North Curve Celtic shared on Twitter, the group said that Celtic had refused their request over recent banners.
The news will be disappointing for Celtic supporters and hopefully there can be some accord between the club and the Green Brigade over tifos. Hopefully there can be some movement as everyone associated with the club recognise the importance to the Celtic Park atmosphere that the GB and their tifos bring. It sounds as if there is scope for resolution but it requires parties to get round the table, likely facilitated by JP.
The Green Brigade will collect money from fellow supporters to support a tifo for the Scottish Cup Final. The Scottish Champions face Aberdeen in the showpiece final to bring down the curtain on the 2025/26 season. Fans are encouraged to support the cause and help to roar Celtic on towards another Treble.
