Pep Guardiola said Man City will make a last-minute decision on whether Erling Haaland can play against Tottenham on Wednesday.
Haaland was an unused substitute for City's 3-1 loss at Real Madrid last week and the Norwegian was left out of Sunday's matchday squad with a knee injury as the Cityzens lost 2-0 against Liverpool on Sunday.
Haaland remains a doubt for the upcoming Spurs clash and Guardiola revealed the club would decide on the striker's fitness until Tuesday evening.
"Tonight, we will know it, after training... I hope so, but I don't know yet. The last two games he couldn't play, tomorrow we will see," Guardiola said.
The Man City boss also gave an update on Kevin De Bruyne following speculation over the playmaker's future at the Etihad.
De Bruyne started his first Premier League game since mid-January against Liverpool on Sunday and the Belgian has made just 12 league starts this season.
"He's an exceptional player, was and is, and hopefully will be. What's going to happen, mainly belongs to him and the club," Guardiola added.
City are fourth in the Premier League on goal difference and have lost two of their last three league fixtures.
