Hansi Flick & key Barcelona star will sign new contracts this week | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona are set to announce contract renewals for a pair of key figures in the club’s first-team setup over the coming days.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Hansi Flick and Raphinha as the pair in question.

In the case of the former, tactician Flick is of course in the midst of what has been nothing short of a spectacular debut campaign in Catalunya’s capital.

The German has knocked Real Madrid off their perch atop the Spanish football landscape, by way of a domestic treble.

And according to MD, such efforts will be imminently rewarded by the Camp Nou brass:

‘It’s a week of renewals at Barça. This Wednesday it will be Hansi Flick ‘s turn, who will extend his contract by one year, signing until 2027.’

And as much will be followed just 24 hours later by a key player renewal.

Wide-man Raphinha has been one of the leading contributors to Barcelona’s success in 2024/25, looking a player reborn under the watch of Hansi Flick.

Across 56 appearances in all competitions, the Brazilian has racked up a remarkable 34 goals and 25 assists.

And such production, will soon be recognised by Deco and co, too, Raphinha’s contract renewal set to be made official on Thursday.
