Speaking to the clubā€™s official website ahead of tonightā€™s clash with PSG at the Emirates Stadium, he said:Ā ā€œIt was a good moment for me in my career and something that Iā€™m always going to think about. Itā€™s a nice feeling but it would be even nicer if I can do it with Arsenal and it would mean a lot more.ā€

Last season marked the North London clubā€™s first campaign in the Champions League since 2016/17, and Havertz believes the experience will stand to them this time around.

ā€œWe know now how tough it is to go far in that competition from last year. Especially last year, away in Germany it wasnā€™t our best game but I think we grew up and we are one year older now, so I hope weā€™re going to have a great competition. Itā€™s a long way but I think weā€™re all ready for it.

ā€œIf players ask me about it I tell them, but I think itā€™s just something new now. We have lots of players already that have played in the competition and now itā€™s a new competition with more games. I help where I can but it was three or four years ago that I won it, so a long time ago, so I think I have to prove myself again in the dressing room.ā€

Despite winning 13 league titles and a record 14 FA Cups, Arsenal have yet to win club footballā€™s biggest competition, while Chelsea have won it twice.

Could he and fellow ex-Blue Jorginho help them to glory this season?
