Once again, and very unfortunately, unqualified Leicester City back-up goalkeeper Danny Ward had a disappointing day in the Foxes goal. With all due respect, the Welshman has no business as a starting Premier League stopper. But that's kind of the point - he's an understudy. Clearly even that position within the squad is too much for the out-of-his-depth former Liverpool man.
That being said, I for one don't think he deserved to be booed by his own King Power Stadium crowd. It's not like he purposefully threw the ball into his own net. He is trying - he's just not good enough. Nevertheless, the paying Blue Army are entitled to their opinion. And, I suppose, they are also at liberty to shout those views at sportsmen if they are thoroughly in their feelings.
Ward, Victor Kristiansen and James Justin should all probably already be omitted from the starting lineup. And the Jannik Vestergaard and Conor Coady partnership wants binning as soon as possible as well! Although, van Nistelrooy really doesn't have many, if any, better options!
Daniel Iversen might have started; the Dane may have even kept a goal out versus Wolverhampton Wanderers. Though the entire team just weren't at it! Signings are required ASAP. In fact, January can't come quickly enough - but I won't hold my breath!
Again, Hermansen might not have conceded one or two of the Wolves finishes. We'll never know. And it is right that the manager must choose a correct or appropriate XI to begin matches.

While it seems he will be in contention for Liverpool on Boxing Day, the same cannot be definitively said about number one Mads Hermansen, who is still out with a groin problem."Leicester Mercury
