MIAMI – Four Concacaf teams secured their spot in the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 on Saturday.

Panama, as the winner of Group G, Honduras in Group D, El Salvador in Group H, and the United States in Group F became the first Concacaf teams to qualify. On Sunday, the final day of the qualifiers, the remaining four spots will be determined.

Group D

Bonaire 1, Saint Martin 4

Saint Martin earned a 4-1 win against Bonaire in Group D at Estadio Francisco Morazán in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Tylian Vilar struck from outside the box in the 26’ to place Saint Martin in front.

Jahnael Charlery-Adele extended the lead in the 32’ with a right-footed finish inside the box. He earned his brace in the 41’ with a header in the box and completed his hat-trick in the 57’.

Darryn Isenia cut the deficit in the 71’ to place Bonaire on the board.

Honduras 1, Puerto Rico 0

Honduras earned a 1-nil win against Puerto Rico to secure first place in Group D at Estadio Francisco Morazán in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Yeison Arriola scored the lone goal of the encounter in the 67’ with a right-footed finish inside the penalty area.

Honduras qualified for the 2025 U-17 World Cup in Chile as the winner of Group D, with a record of P-3 W-3 GF-12 GA-0. The top scorers were Luis Suazo (3), Jason Arriola (2), David Flores (2), and Marco Antonio Reyes (2). This is the first time Honduras has qualified with a 100% success rate, joining Mexico (7 times), the United States (3 times), and Panama (1 time). The 2025 U-17 qualifiers were the fourth-highest scoring campaign for the Honduran team (12 goals), surpassed only by the 18 goals in 2023, 15 goals in 2017, and 13 goals in 1985.

Honduras will play in the U-17 World Cup for the sixth time in its history, having previously participated in South Korea 2007, Nigeria 2009, the United Arab Emirates 2013, Chile 2015, and India 2017. The team’s all-time top scorers are Patrick Palacios (3) and Carlos "Zapatilla" Mejía (3).

Its best result came when it reached the quarterfinals in the United Arab Emirates 2013 and the Round of 16 in India 2017, which was its last appearance.

Group F

Saint Kitts and Nevis 9, U.S. Virgin Islands 2

Saint Kitts and Nevis earned a 9-2 victory over the U.S. Virgin Islands in Group F at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Franklyn Mitcham struck the opening goal in the 5' and extended the lead for Saint Kitts and Nevis in the 8'.

Connor Bass lobbed the goalkeeper in the 21’ to put the U.S. Virgin Islands back within one.

Akanye Samuel-Francis restored the two-goal lead for Saint Kitts and Nevis in the 23'.

Savi-K Morton struck from a free kick in the 32, from long range in the 40', and inside the box in the 45' to further the advantage for Saint Kitts and Nevis, earning his hat-trick.

Samuel-Francis earned his brace in the 83' with a left-footed finish in the box.

Bass struck once more for the USVI in the 87’ to earn his brace.

Samuel-Francis completed his hat-trick in the 88', and poker in the 90’+2.

United States 2, Cuba 0

The United States won 2-nil against Cuba to clinch the top spot in Group F at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Chase Adams opened the scoring in the 23’, increasing his tally to 11 goals in the top scorer race.

Maximo Carrizo extended the U.S. lead in the 31’ with a left-footed hit inside the six-yard box.

The United States won Group F and qualified for the 2025 U-17 World Cup in Chile with a record of P-3 W-3 GF-31 GA-0. Chase Adams was the top scorer with 11 goals. This marks the fourth time the U.S. has qualified with a 100% success rate, joining Mexico (7 times), Panama (once), and Honduras (once). The 2025 U-17 qualifiers set a new record for the most goals scored (31) by the U.S., surpassing the 28 goals scored in the 2019 edition.

The United States will play in the U-17 World Cup for the 19th time in its history, having previously participated in China 1985, Canada 1987, Scotland 1989, Italy 1991, Japan 1993, Ecuador 1995, Egypt 1997, New Zealand 1999, Trinidad & Tobago 2001, Finland 2003, Peru 2005, South Korea 2007, Nigeria 2009, Mexico 2011, Chile 2015, India 2017, Brazil 2019, and Indonesia 2023. The team's all-time top scorers are Judah Cooks (4) and Freddy Adu (4).

Its best performance came in 1999 when it finished third in New Zealand, while it also reached the quarterfinals in 1991, 1993, 2003, 2005, and 2017.

The U.S. is tied with Brazil for the most U-17 World Cup appearances, with both nations participating in 18 tournaments. Additionally, they share the record for the most consecutive World Cup appearances at this level, each playing in 14 straight tournaments.

Group G

Aruba 2, Grenada 1

Aruba earned a 2-1 win against Grenada in Group G at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama.

Travis Wever broke the deadlock in the 84’ with a header inside the box to place Aruba in front.

Josh Thomas tied the match in the 86’ with a conversion from the penalty spot.

Max Obispo delivered the match-winner in the 90’+4, striking a header inside the box to connect with a cross from Jaydrick Panneflek, as Aruba exited the tournament with its first victory.

Panama 2, Dominican Republic 1

Panama earned a 2-1 win against the Dominican Republic for first place in Group G at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama.

Mikel Prado struck the opening goal for Los Canaleros in the 30’ with a back-footed finish inside the box.

Joseph López scored in the 44’ to place the Dominican Republic back on level terms.

Estevis López delivered the deciding goal in the 87’ with a left-footed finish inside the penalty area.

Panama qualified for the 2025 Chile U-17 World Cup in Chile as the winner of Group G with a record of P-3 W-3 GF-13 GA-1.

The top scorers in the qualifiers were Mikel Prado (4) and Estevis López (3). This is the first time Panama has qualified with a 100% success rate, joining Mexico (7 times) and the United States (3 times). The 2025 qualifiers were the second highest-scoring campaign for the Panamanian team (13 goals), only surpassed by the 15 goals scored in the 2015 edition.

Panama will play in the U-17 World Cup for the fourth time in its history, having previously participated in Mexico 2011, the United Arab Emirates 2013, and Indonesia 2023. The team's all-time top scorers are Jorman Aguilar and Oldemar Castillo, both with two goals.

Its best performance came in its debut edition (Mexico 2011), when it reached the Round of 16. Panama remains the only Concacaf team (to date) to advance past the group stage in its first-ever U-17 World Cup appearance.

Group H

Cayman Islands 0, Saint Lucia 5

Saint Lucia won 5-nil against the Cayman Islands in Group H at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Dervaj Edward struck the opening goal in the 24’ from a free kick attempt. Thierry Morille extended the lead in the 27’ from the penalty spot.

Shevon Byron added a third for Saint Lucia in the 52’, striking inside the box with a left-footed finish.

Traylan Henry placed his name on the scoresheet in the 60’ and earned his brace in the 76’.

Jamaica 1, El Salvador 2

El Salvador earned a 2-1 win against Jamaica for first place in Group H at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Jefferson Perla struck a left-footed laser off a free kick attempt in the 22’ to place El Salvador in front.

Raequan Campbell-Dennis equalized in the 48’ as the Reggae Boyz retook the pole position.

Brandon Ramírez struck with power inside the box in the 80’ to deliver the deciding goal to acquire El Salvador’s first FIFA U-17 World Cup appearance.

El Salvador qualified for the U-17 World Cup for the first time, earning a spot in Chile 2025 as the winner of Group H with a record of P-3 W-3 GF-12 GA-1. The top scorer was Luis Tobar (3).

El Salvador will become the fourth Central American team to compete in a FIFA U-17 World Cup and the 11th Concacaf nation to do so.
