Footage of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham responding to the first La Liga goal netted by teammate Kylian Mbappé has on Sunday come to the fore.

The name of frontman Mbappé, of course, has positioned itself front and centre in the headlines in Spain late this evening.

This comes after the France international, at the fourth time of asking, at last broke his La Liga duck.

Afforded a starting berth in Real Madrid’s meeting with Real Betis, Mbappé, first, opened the evening’s scoring courtesy of a fine near post finish.

Then, 15 minutes from time, the 25-year-old was on target once more, on this occasion from the penalty spot.

It was after his first of the clash, though, that a sense of relief truly spread across the Santiago Bernabéu.

And front and centre in the celebrations, as alluded to above, was a sidelined member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, in Jude Bellingham.

Watching on from the crowd amid his ongoing recovery from injury, midfielder Bellingham was spotted responding to Mbappé’s strike in passionate fashion, footage of which can be seen below:
