The final matchday of the new Champions League format is just around the corner, with a unique situation in recent history, with all 36 teams kicking off at the same time.
The finale will see teams find out their fate with a number of possible outcomes in terms of qualification still on the line, and few games in the fixture list are as tasty as Atalanta’s trip to Barcelona.
After their last-gasp win over Benfica, Barcelona are facing a situation where they already know they are qualified for the Round of 16, securing a finish in the top eight of the league phase. There is still plenty on the line for Barcelona though, who will want to hold onto second spot in order to avoid potentially being on the same side of the draw as Liverpool in first.
La Dea are having a fine season of their own, and despite a surprising draw with Celtic, have found their way into the top eight going into the final matchday. Atalanta have secured qualification for the knockout rounds, but with just a point separating them from the play-off round and the Round of 16, coming away without a result from their trip to Barcelona could well see them drop out of the top eight. As the two top-scoring sides in the competition go head-to-head, it’s an enticing prospect.

An event in high demand, Barcelona are still selling tickets starting at €149, but have already sold out the two goal ends. Fans can head straight to their official website to get their hands on those, although it should be noted that the Blaugrana only confirm the zone of your seat, and not the exact location. Atalanta will have an allocation of a few thousand fans for the clash, but have already hung up the virtual ‘sold-out’ sign.
There are alternatives though, with some preferring to go through third-party websites. In the case of LiveFootballTickets.com, they provide the security of a 150% money-back guarantee, and they will allow you to choose your exact seat. At the time of writing, LiveFootballTickets.com have 134 tickets remaining, with the prices starting at €152.
Barcelona-Football-Tickets are more expensive at €200 for their cheapest tickets, while FootballTicketnet start at slightly cheaper with a two tickets available for €130.
