The Barclays Women’s Super League club travel to Keys Park to face the third tier Baggies on Sunday afternoon.
When speaking in the pre-match press conference, Brighton boss Scheuer said that it will be a tough game but his side have more than enough quality to reach the fifth round.
“Every single game is a different game,” Scheuer said. “We have respect for West Brom but I expect us to show what we have practiced in recent weeks and I expect us to get to the next round.
“We are the favourites and the team from the WSL. We are strong enough and if we believe in our strengths, we can beat them. We are going into this game wanting to put on a show.”
While the Barclays Women’s Super League is broadcast around the world, it is much more difficult to gather information on the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division. Despite the challenges, Scheuer said that he has been able to do his homework on West Bromwich Albion.
He said “It is a little bit more difficult to get the information but our analysts have done a good job and we have some clips of West Brom so we are well-prepared.
“We should bring our own strengths into the game and focus on ourselves rather than the opponent. I know it won’t be an easy game but as I said, we are strong enough and good enough to beat them.
“I believe in my team and their strengths and we have had some great training sessions. We took a step forward with our performance against West Ham, we stabilised our defence too and I am really happy with what I have seen in training this week. I am very enthusiastic about what I have seen and hopefully, we can take it into West Brom.”
Brighton & Hove Albion’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie at West Bromwich Albion kicks-off at 2pm on Sunday afternoon.
