Sky Sport Italia and Gianluca Di Marzio have already confirmed Milan’s interest in the former Juventus striker, who has a release clause in his contract with Atletico Madrid, which will become active this summer.

Multiple outlets agree that the release clause stands at a figure of €13m.

Morata has recently expressed his desire to stay on with Atletico in a post on his Instagram profile, however, some have suggested that he was trying to deny links to a possible move to Saudi Arabia.

For that reason, outlets in Italy believe that Milan is still an inciting and realistic opportunity for the 31-year-old, who is set to face Germany in the EURO 2024 quarter-final on Friday evening.
