Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who serves as a senior advisor for RedBird Capital focusing on Milan, took stock of the season is going for the Rossoneri during a Kings League event. He’ll preside over its Italian branch. He spoke with Sky.
“The clash with Juventus will be spectacular. We’re a work in progress and we’re trying to find balance and stability. We can do better, but we’re growing, and that’s what we want to continue doing. Our main focus is to find the right equilibrium. There have been results in certain matches that just can’t happen. It’s something both mental and stylistic. We’re developing it since we have gone through some changes.”
Ibrahimovic was asked whether Milan were cooking up something on the transfer market.
“Everybody is in the know, and each gives his own advice. Everybody is an expert today. We’re tending to it every day through out network of scouts, examining what the first team and the Futuro squad could need. We aren’t thinking about January yet. Let’s see what happens in the next two months first.”
Besides addressing Milan, Ibrahimovic commented on the sport in general and Francesco Totti considering a shocking return to the pitch.
“I understand that the fans want a better show, but professional football already has everything. Everybody wishes to resume playing at some point, but then it’s a different story when you take the field. I would still be able to do something if I wished to.”
Milan are six points behind Juventus and eight below the top of the lead heading into the much-anticipated Round 13’s meeting between the two outfits.
