Manchester United are poised to receive a healthy cash injection via early outgoings when the transfer window opens next month.
With loanees Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Marcus Rashford all unlikely to don the red, white, and black of the 20-time champions again, United are already putting the feelers out on the market for their replacements.
With regards to Antony, who’s spent the second half of the campaign reviving his career with Real Betis, he may have his pick of a few suitors when the time comes that he pulls the curtains on his Red Devils career.

His tremendous form since moving to Seville hasn’t gone unnoticed across the continent – and it’s no wonder why. A hugely impressive seven goals and four assists, with some goals proving integral, in the 20 starts he’s made thus far has Betis frantically trying to retain him on loan for 2025/2026.
The 25-year-old added to his tally more recently with a superb curled strike on the edge of the area to seal a dramatic late La Liga win over Espanyol last night, while on Thursday, he shocked ex-teammate David de Gea when netting a weak-footed volley to extend Betis’ lead over Fiorentina in the sides’ Conference League semi-final first leg.
With a permanent move to Los Verdiblancos posing as a difficult option due to their financial status, Antony may have the choice to continue plying his trade in La Liga amid interest from top dogs Atletico Madrid.
Spanish journalist Marcos Benito confirmed last week that an approach had been made by Atletico chiefs. He told El Chiringuito TV: “I’m told, or was told yesterday, that Atletico Madrid have set their sights on a Brazilian winger.
“They told me they’ve had their eye on Antony – a favourite at Betis – [and] asked [for him] to be signed from Manchester United.
“They also tell me they’d be willing to sell him for a figure of around €40-50m and that Atletico Madrid have already enquired about him.”
Additionally, one report over the weekend that came from the forward’s native Brazil claimed Arsenal were among the clubs sizing up an approach, which would allow Antony a second chance at proving himself in the English top flight following two-and-a-half lacklustre seasons at Old Trafford.
