As Manchester City looked to take advantage of Arsenal's disappointing 1-1 draw with Brighton earlier in their day, they looked as always to their big man up top.

A miss from a free header in the early stages of the game did nothing to deter Erling Haaland, as soon after he broke the deadlock from another Bernardo Silva cross.

Haaland now has six goals in his opening three games, which is more than 13 different Premier League sides.

The Norwegian was also the first player in Europe's top five leagues to reach five goals this season.

But when West Ham levelled, Man City looked to their talisman once again, and he duly delivered.
