An injury to Burnley defender Ameen Al Dakhil has seen the 21-year-old drop out of the Belgium squad for the upcoming internationals. In his place, Domenico Tedesco has called up Standard Liege’s on loan defender Zinho Vanheusden. The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Standard from Inter, who he joined in 2021 from Standard. Vanheusden has yet to make an appearance for Inter, having spent time on loan at Genoa and AZ Alkmaar.

So far this season, the defender has been made captain of the side under Carl Hoefkens. Injuries have plagued the defender’s career since he burst onto the scene at Standard, however so far this season he has managed to start all 10 league games for the side, playing the full 90 minutes in each match.
