Inter have inched closer in their pursuit for the young Argentinian defender and are now on the verge of sealing the acquisition of Tomas Palacios.

Luca Bendoni reveals, via FcInter1908, that pair of South American sides Talleres and Independiente Rivadivia have reached an agreement to terminate the 21 year-old’s loan prematurely, permitting him to return to his parent club Talleres so that he can complete his move to the Nerazzurri.

Whilst there still remains work to be done as the Beneamata seek to submit a transfer fee not greater than €6m for the 2003 born defender, the Milanese club have overcame the biggest obstacle of the deal and are now prepared to speed up negotiations before the transfer window reaches a close.

The Nerazzurri have been eyeing the promising Argentine throughout the summer, given that he is a left-footed defender that is usually deployed in a back three, permitting Italian tactician Simone Inzaghi to possess a proper back-up for former Atalanta defender Alessandro Bastoni.
