Inter Milan superstar Marcus Thuram has outlined the club’s unwavering desire to win only the second treble in history.

During his recent interview with Inter TV via FCInterNews, the French forward delivered his verdict on Nerazzurri’s lofty ambitions.

Thuram excelled in his first season in Serie A.

With 13 goals and 13 assists, he helped Inter notch their 20th Scudetto last term.

One of those strikes earned him the ‘Goal of the Season’ award at Monday’s AIC Grand Gala ceremony.

Indeed, Thuram went for a spectacular in his maiden Derby della Madonnina appearance against AC Milan last September.

He danced past several Rossoneri defenders before finishing with aplomb as Inter humbled Stefano Pioli’s side 5-1.

“I expected it. At that moment, I closed my eyes and shot,” Thuram commented on the prize.

“I haven’t scored a goal like that this year yet, but I’m happy.”

Despite a topsy-turvy start to their Serie A title defense, Simone Inzaghi’s men are seemingly back on track.

Unbeaten in their last 12 outings, they’re on the verge of securing an automatic qualification spot in the UEFA Champions League.

Meanwhile, they trail Serie A leaders Napoli by four points, albeit with a game in hand.

Indeed, Inter have gone into overdrive since losing 2-1 to Milan in mid-September.

Except for a brace of frustrating home draws against Juventus and Napoli, they’ve won six of their last eight league games.

In doing so, they’ve rekindled their Scudetto hopes as Thuram assesses the club’s and his seasonal goals.

“My personal objectives? First and foremost, to help the team as I did last year,” the 27-year-old stated.

“The team’s goal is to win all the trophies we compete for, including the league title.”

Inter will take on Parma at home on Friday, seeking a ninth consecutive unbeaten league match.
