Inter Milan Manager Praises Arsenal Ahead Of Mouth-Watering UEFA Champions League Showdown: “Among The Strongest In Europe”

Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi has identified Arsenal as one of Europe’s best teams ahead of tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League game.

During his pre-match chat with Sky Sports, as reported by FCInter1908, Inzaghi praised the Gunners and called for caution.

Both teams head into proceedings amid an impressive European form.

Indeed, Inter have claimed back-to-back wins against Red Star Belgrade and Young Boys after a 0-0 draw at Manchester City.

Simone Inzaghi’s side kept a clean sheet on both occasions.

That makes them one of only five sides yet to concede a goal this Champions League campaign.

However, Arsenal also belong to this group.

Following a scoreless stalemate at Atalanta, they’ve defeated Paris Saint-Germain and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Luckily for Inter, the Gunners have suffered a dip in form ahead of this encounter.

Mikel Arteta’s men have gone winless in four of their last five away matches in all competitions.

However, Simone Inzaghi refuses to let Arsenal’s recent travel sickness tuck him into a false sense of security.

“In previous years, after the first three matches, you could outline what was happening in the group,” he said.

“Now, it’s all more difficult.

“No calculations, tomorrow we face one of the strongest teams in Europe, and we will need a great version of Inter.

“Compared to City, Arteta has proved to be a top manager.

“Arsenal are very recognizible, they are a technical, fast team that excels in both defensive and offensive phases.”

“We will have to play an important game.”

Inter and Arsenal last met in the Champions League over two decades ago.

They shared the stage in the 2003/24 group stages.

Interestingly, both teams won their away matches that year, with Arsenal avenging a 3-0 home loss with a 5-1 win at Meazza.
