Simone Inzaghi was the architect of another memorable European night as Inter Milan overcame Barcelona at San Siro last evening.
Per multiple Italian outlets via TMW, the 49-year-old manager delivered when it mattered the most.
Indeed, Simone Inzaghi defied adversity to guide the Nerazzurri into their second Champions League final in three years.
Only a fortnight after Inter’s treble dream came crashing down, Inzaghi rekindled enthusiasm among the San Siro faithful.
In doing so, he equaled an impressive feat in club history.

Last night’s win saw Inzaghi become only the second Inter manager to secure a place in two Champions League finals.
The only previous coach to achieve that milestone was Helenio Herrera.
However, European success eluded the ex-Lazio boss in 2023 as Manchester City beat Inter in the Istanbul final.
Therefore, the Italian giants will fly to Munich later this month to go one better and finally ascend the throne.
Jose Mourinho was the last Inter boss to win the Champions League.
