Inter Milan have decided on Luis Henrique as their priority target at wingback.

The Brazilian is the player the Nerazzurri want as backup and competition for Denzel Dumfries on the right flank.

Inter had looked at a couple other targets. Bologna’s Dan Ndoye was one, but the Rossoblu want at least €40 million for the Swiss international. Then, Lazio have no intention of selling Gustav Eriksen.

Therefore, Inter have set their sights on Luis Henrique of Marseille.

Inter Milan are not the only club with an interest in Luis Henrique’s signature.

The likes of Bayern Munich, Newcastle United, and Juventus have also come in with an interest in signing the 23-year-old.

However, reports Tuttosport, Inter have taken control of the race to sign Henrique decisively.

Inter Milan have already agreed personal terms with the Brazilian. They have offered him a five-year deal. He would earn €2.2 million net in his first season, rising over the course of his contract.

Meanwhile, Inter have not yet agreed a deal with Marseille. However, they are getting closer and closer.

The French club initially wanted €35 million. However, Tuttosport report that they’ve dropped their asking price to €30 million.

Meanwhile, Inter were initially offering a fee of around €18-20 million. However, they’ve increased their bid to €24-25 million plus add-ons.

Therefore, Tuttosport report, it now looks to only be a matter of time before the deal happens.
