UEFA has finalized the fund allocation for the 2020–2024 cycle of national team competitions, with Inter Milan set to receive a handsome reward.
According to FCInterNews, the defending Serie A champions will earn around €4.5 million from the club benefits program.
UEFA distributed €233m to 901 clubs across 55 participating national associations for releasing players for international competitions.
Indeed, those include the 2020/21 and 2022/23 UEFA Nations Leagues, the 2022–24 European Qualifiers, and the UEFA EURO 2024 finals.
UEFA allocated €93m of that eye-watering amount based on agreed percentages.

Clubs across the entire football pyramid benefited from the funds, ranging from elite sides to amateur outfits.
For instance, Inter Milan will see their bank accounts boosted by €4.5m.
However, lower-ranked teams like England’s tenth-tier club, Yorkshire Amateur, will also reap the benefits.
Meanwhile, Inter can use these funds to finance their squad overhaul in the summer transfer window.
