Inter & Napoli Contemplating Huge Swap Deal

Inter and Napoli could strike a high-profile swap deal involving Davide Frattesi and Giacomo Raspadori in the summer. According to Tuttosport via TMW, the Nerazzurri would let the Italian midfielder move to Naples if they get another ex-Sassuolo star in return.
Davide Frattesi was close to leaving Inter in January. Indeed, Roma went above and beyond to convince their academy graduate to return to the Stadio Olimpico. However, their effort was in vain as Simone Inzaghi blocked the transfer due to a lack of alternatives in the engine room.
Frattesi’s form has since failed to impress the Inter boss, who will allow him to leave Giuseppe Meazza after two years at the end of the season. Though Roma would likely try again, the reigning Serie A champions may do business with Napoli instead.
Raspadori has long been on the club’s radar. Now that Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa are on their way out, Inter could concretize their long-term interest in the diminutive forward. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old would probably be open to leaving Napoli.
Antonio Conte has recently reinstated Raspadori in his starting XI. However, that’s only because of David Neres’ injury, not to mention they failed to sign a suitable replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the winter transfer window. Therefore, Inter may have a chance here.
The club’s €40 million asking price for Frattesi could make it almost impossible for Roma to re-sign their former star. As such, a swap deal with Napoli makes more sense.
