Mane left Europe to embrace the reaches of the Middle East in the summer of 2023 after a disappointing season at Bayern Munich. However, less than two years into his experience in the desert, the Senegalese superstar could return to the highest stage, with Inter earmarking him as a concrete target for the January transfer window.

Desperate times sometimes require desperate measures, and Inter desperately lack depth in attack after Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic proved unreliable.
