Since 2017, the year of its debut in the DCPS Championship (Paralympic and Experimental Football Division), which is promoted by the FIGC and dedicated to people with intellectual and relational disabilities, the “special” team created by the Milano-based association Sporting4E has had the support of Inter. Increasingly involved in the Club's CSR activities and often hosted at our sports facilities, the Inter Special players take to the pitch wearing the Nerazzurri jersey in their league and during international tournaments.
To mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is celebrated every year on 3 December, a series of activities are planned when Simone Inzaghi’s men face Parma on Friday 6 December.
For this Serie A fixture, the Gialloblu Special team will be guests at San Siro, where they will have the opportunity to watch the game alongside the Inter Special side. After watching the teams warm up pitchside, where they will meet Inter's Vice President Javier Zanetti, two players from the DCPS teams will accompany the captains of Inter and Parma onto the pitch as they line up before the game. They will then get to watch the league clash.
Each season, more than 12,000 people are directly impacted by the Inter’s CSR projects and initiatives. These projects are created and supported by Inter with a medium-to-long-term vision, with the Club establishing stable relationships – some of these have been ongoing for over a decade – with the organisations it collaborates with. The Club's CSR activities are carried out in collaboration with our stakeholders, from institutions and partners through to players, young athletes, employees and fans.
