Simone Inzaghi is not worried by the absence of key Inter players against Fiorentina, trusting that Kristjan Asllani, Carlos Augusto and more can deliver.
It kicks off at the Stadio Artemio Franchi at 19.45 GMT.
There is a great deal at stake here, because Fiorentina need a win to recapture fourth from Atalanta, while a victory can send Inter ahead of Juventus with a game in hand going into the February 4 Scudetto showdown.
“We must focus only on ourselves and not think about false tables. We have a very difficult game tonight against a strong team that showed what it can do in Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Conference League too,” Inzaghi told DAZN.
Both teams were in Riyadh for the Supercoppa Italiana Final Four, the Viola losing the semi-final to Napoli and Inter lifting the trophy for the third year in a row.
However, cards carry on from that tournament, so Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicoló Barella and Cristiano Biraghi sit out bans.
Asllani and Davide Frattesi step in, while Carlos Augusto replaces the rested Federico Dimarco on the left.
“Kristjan is doing very well here at Inter. Naturally, he has a great player in front of him, but every time he was called upon, he played his part and I think he will do the same tonight.
“Carlos has a lot of experience, I decided to make some changes as we had two very intensive matches in Saudi Arabia and rest was important. I must try to use all the players, as they all gave a great response when asked to contribute.”
