We also met the Tractor Boys in the league earlier this season at the Etihad and sealed another 4-1 victory, with Erling Haaland netting a treble and Kevin De Bruyne also getting on the scoresheet.

On Tuesday evening, City fought out a draw 2-2 away to Brentford, with Phil Foden scoring twice, but Yoane Wissa and Christian Norgaard firing back for the Bees late on.

As for Kieran McKenna’s side, they aren’t in action until Thursday evening, where they host Brighton.
