Wingback Federico Dimarco could come straight back into the Inter Milan starting eleven for tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Cagliari.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Wingback Federico Dimarco has had some fitness ups and downs over the last few weeks.
The Italian international made his return from a thigh injury after the international break.
Dimarco has started for Inter in Serie A matches against the likes of Udinese and Parma.
However, on the other hand, Dimarco has not featured against AC Milan or Bayern Munich in the Coppa Italia and Champions League respectively.
The 27-year-old has been in the matchday squad against both Milan and Bayern. However, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has looked to preserve his fitness.

Currently, the Gazzetta confirm, Federico Dimarco is in training for Inter.
There is no doubt that the Italian will be in the squad for tomorrow’s match against Cagliari.
However, the big doubt concerns whether Dimarco will start the Serie A outing.
Carlos Augusto could continue to hold down the left-wingback spot.
But on the other hand, the Gazzetta report, Dimarco would also be a candidate to start in the role.
