“But I saw a lot of improvements in terms of play and ideas. We certainly showed quality in the final metres, but it wasn’t enough.”

“We created chances and could have scored, perhaps we could have made better choices in the final third.”

“I saw a lot of positive things and a better understanding of the gameplan.”

“We have to improve a lot on reactivity: stealing the ball, doing preventive coverage which we did very well in the second half, but there were moments in which even in numerical superiority we weren’t able to be aggressive enough and not allow counterattacks.”

“Then we conceded a goal at random, but examining the performance something was definitely missing in attack. We suffered a few too many counterattacks, but there were also a lot of positive things.”

“Soulé? He doesn’t hide, he asks for the ball and wants to play, this means he has confidence. He doesn’t suffer from pressure, otherwise he would hide and not be seen.”

“At the moment he is not as decisive as he would like to be. We are talking about a young lad who spent a year in Frosinone, he came straight to Rome and the expectations are enormous. Let’s give him time, let’s try to work on a physical level, on the positions, let’s try to make him grow otherwise he’s not good.”

“At the moment he is not as decisive as he would like but there are many things that I like, one of these is that he never hides and he makes himself seen, even too much in some situations.”
