Wrexham secured a crucial 3-0 win against 10-man Burton at STOK Cae Ras last Saturday, giving a significant boost to their push for a top-two finish.
Their impressive home form has been a key factor in their promotion bid to the Championship. Y Cae Ras has become a fortress for the club, with Wrexham scoring 37 league goals and earning 49 points at the Racecourse.
The only team with better home form is league leaders Birmingham City, who’ve netted 43 goals and collected 57 points at St. Andrew’s.
Saturday's victory, with goals from Steven Fletcher, Sam Smith, and Jack Marriott, saw the club owned by Hollywood stars Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds take the lead in a new EFL stat.
Since their promotion to League Two in 2023/24, no team has scored more home goals (including play-offs) than the Red Dragons in EFL. With a total of 99 goals, Phil Parkinson's side now top the chart, leapfrogging Championship side Leeds United, who’ve scored 98 goals in the same period.
