Javier ‘Chofis’ López is not ruling out the possibility of returning to play for Chivas one day.
The 26-year-old was one of four players dropped from the Flock’s squad in November due to serious off-field disciplinary issues.
While the attacker accepts that he will leave Los Rojiblancos in the upcoming transfer window, he has not closed the door on returning to the Estadio Akron at some stage in the future.
“I never say no. I am very grateful to the club, to all the people and hopefully (I can return to Chivas),” López told TUDN.
“And if not, I have no problem,” he added.
Despite the controversial circumstances of his exit, Chofis feels it is a good time for him to seek new pastures.
“I am at a good age and a good time to make that change,” he said.
The former Chivas academy star, who has been on the books at the club for a decade, has been linked with León, Mazatlán and Tijuana.
