In an 18-month spell working alongside Jo Potter, she helped guide Rangers to a domestic cup double as well as qualifying for the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Bradford – who was earlier at Burnley and had seven seasons at Coventry United, six of those as manager – will work alongside Amy Merricks, and fellow assistant, Chelsea Noonan.

Bradford told BCFC.com: “I am thrilled to be here. Blues is a great club with a lot of history, and I am really looking forward to adding to that history and hopefully bringing a lot of success to the club.”

Head Coach, Amy Merricks, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jay to the club, she has a vast amount of experience and knowledge in the women’s game and will add great value to the existing technical staff.
