The latest comments laid out by Barcelona president Joan Laporta are no doubt set to bring a collective smile to the faces of Blaugrana fans the world over.

This comes after Laporta provided a fresh insight into the current financial situation at the club.

And the news proved itself to be of an altogether positive nature…

On Monday, Barca’s board leader sat down for an interview with local radio station Catalunya Ràdio.

During the discussion between the parties, a whole host of topics were brought to the fore, not least the current state of the Blaugrana’s finances.

As much has of course long proven a headline talking point in Catalunya’s capital, with the club’s endeavours on the transfer front this summer set to hinge heavily on their success in returning to the 1:1 rule.

In turn, all of a Barcelona persuasion will today breathe a collective sigh of relief.

This comes with Laporta having had the following to say when drawn on the situation behind the scenes at the Camp Nou at present:

“On a sporting level, there will be good news. We will soon return to normal Fair Play.”
