Jorginho claims that Arsenal are not afraid of Erling Haaland's goalscoring form as they prepare to face Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Norwegian striker has already netted nine goals in just four league games this season - including hat-tricks against Ipswich Town and West Ham United. He's currently averaging 2.25 goals per game, meaning he's on pace to record 85 across the season if he plays all 38 Premier League matches.

Despite this frightening statistic, Arsenal are not afraid of Haaland, despite midfielder Jorginho claiming that his strength in front of goal is bringing out laughs in the Gunners' dressing room.

"Erling scoring again, it is starting to make us laugh," he told reporters. "We look because we look at all the games and we love football.

"We love the Premier League so we watch all the games to be fair. We watch them as well, which is normal. It doesn't get to our head. We need to focus on us and that is what we are trying to do.

"If you want to achieve big things you need to have the mentality of trying to win every single game. That is what we need to do and that is what we want to do. That is what we are trying to do.

"You need to keep in this way. Keep believing in what you are doing. We are believing in what we are doing and we keep working hard to improve on what we need to improve. I think we are on the right way and we need to keep it going."

Arsenal are set to travel to the Etihad to face City on Sunday, just threedays after their Champions League opener with Atalanta in Italy. City will face Inter on Wednesday in their first clash of the newly-revamped tournament.
