Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce interested in Sassuolo’s Armand Lauriente | OneFootball

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are keen on signing Sassuolo star Armand Lauriente, who has impressed with the club during their time in Serie A.

Sassuolo are now in Serie B after a disappointing 2023/24 campaign and they could be preparing for an exodus. Lauriente was one of their brightest stars during their stay in the top flight and he could depart.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Frenchman is destined to leave the Italian side after relegation and despite interest from other clubs, Jose Mourinho-led Fenerbahce are in pole position to sign him and lead the race.

As of now, it seems likely that Lauriente would end up in Turkey and Fener have, so far, surpassed competition from Serie A sides Como, Parma, Torino and Cagliari and they also offer the promise of European football.

In the 2023/24 season, he played 37 times in the top flight and he scored five times and assisted four times.
