Footage of referee Jose Munuera explaining his decision to send off Jude Bellingham during Real Madrid’s meeting with Osasuna has come to the fore online.

Real of course marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Pamplona for a La Liga meeting with Osasuna.

When all was said and done in a drama-filled affair, the spoils were shared in a 1-1 draw.

The headline talking point in the clash arrived late in the first-half, upon Jude Bellingham being shown a straight red card for dissent.

The decision gave rise to nothing short of shock on the part of the Englishman and his teammates, who quickly surrounded Jose Munuera to demand an explanation for his actions.

And as much, in turn, was swiftly provided by the official.

Speaking to Real Madrid captain Luka Modrić, Munuera, in footage captured by Movistar, explained:

“He said ‘f**k you’ to me.”

Modrić then responded with:

“No! No! He didn’t say anything! He didn’t say anything.”
