Manchester United teenager Ayden Heaven has been dominating the headlines in recent weeks following his concerning injury against Leicester City.

The 18-year-old has been a real revelation for the Red Devils, despite only making four appearances for the first team since joining the club in January.

Nevertheless, the defender’s remarkable impact made him an instant fan favourite at Old Trafford, especially following his brilliant second-half showing against his former employers, Arsenal.

Heaven made his first Premier League start a couple of weeks back at King Power. But after delivering the goods once more in the first half, his outing ended prematurely after suffering a knock early in the second period.

Man Utd fans initially feared the worst, but these concerns were eased over the next day or two, with the player providing encouraging updates.

However, these fears were once again fueled by photos that emerged last week, showing the player arriving at Carrington while wearing a protective boot. Many took it as a sign of a long layoff.

Nevertheless, Man Utd insider Sully delivered a positive update, insisting the player was only donning the protective boot as a precaution. The source reveals that Heaven has already rejoined his teammates in training.

“Understand Ayden Heaven has made significant recovery and is back in first team training this morning,” posted the journalist on his X account.

“Ayden had his protective boot on for precaution what now seems like and is in much better condition. Unlikely to be in squad but huge boost for Amorim.”

The Man Utd manager had also provided encouraging news on the likes of Luke Shaw and Leny Yoro, while confirming that Heaven is ‘recovering’.

So it remains to be seen when the London native will make his return to the pitch.
