Roma coach Ivan Juric assures Paulo Dybala and Artem Dovbyk are ‘at 100 per cent’ and ready to start against Inter tomorrow evening. ‘We ought to be scoring more goals.’
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).
While Stephan El Shaarawy and Alexis Saelemaekers are out of action, with Enzo Le Fée and Leandro Paredes not fully fit, the biggest concerns building up to the match were around their star strikers.
“Artem returned from international duty with a small niggle, but has recovered well. Paulo had a recovery phase and all the training sessions went well. They are both at 100 per cent,” assured Juric in his press conference this afternoon.
Inter are the reigning Champions of Italy, but following the draw with Monza and defeat to Milan, scraped surprisingly hard-fought 3-2 victories over Udinese and Torino.
“We know everything about Inter, they are a top team who play great football. They have no weak points, so it is always difficult to face them, especially as they’ve known each other for many years and know the movements off by heart. It is our job to make things difficult for them.”

Federico Dimarco is on sparkling form for both Inter and Italy recently, having flourished during a loan experience with Juric at Hellas Verona from 2019 to 2021.
“I am really pleased for Dimarco, as he is a hard worker and has become a fundamental player. Angelino has the right characteristics to follow in his footsteps, although needs to improve specifically in attack.”
This is turning into a concern for Roma overall, as the coach feels they are not making the most of their scoring opportunities since he took over from Daniele De Rossi.
“We need to work, because we have what it takes and ought to be scoring more goals with the chances that we are creating. We need the right mentality to play our game and put pressure on the opponents.”
