Violence is the highest expression of incivility, and we stand firmly against it. Partnering with Fondazione Libellula means continuing to improve ourselves as individuals and professionals, while conveying to our community the importance of respect, always. - Greta Bodino, Chief People, Culture & Sustainability Officer at Juventus
On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, on November 25th, Juventus proudly announces its official membership in the Fondazione Libellula network, a social enterprise committed to preventing and combating gender-based violence.
Joining the network will enable Juventus to offer targeted training programs to its staff, aimed at raising awareness about gender-based violence, promoting an equitable workplace, and fostering a company culture based on respect and inclusion. Additionally, some members of the Club will embark on an Ambassador program, becoming internal reference points capable of listening to and supporting anyone facing challenging situations.
These initiatives are an integral part of the Club's ESG Strategy, "Black, White, and More", following a previous training session titled "Change a Word, Change the World," which was delivered to the entire workforce last season.
This milestone in the collaboration between Juventus and Fondazione Libellula builds on an established partnership that began with the awareness campaign "Blow the Whistle on Violence Against Women" during the 2022/2023 season. Last season, Juventus’ first teams and Next Gen squads took to the field with the Foundation's logo during matches scheduled for the weekend of November 25th. This initiative earned the Club the "Libellula Inspiring Company" award from the Foundation. Furthermore, on March 8th, the two organizations collaborated on the "More Women in Football" campaign, where Juventus produced tote bags (in collaboration with INDIVISA), with proceeds donated to the Foundation.
