According to Matteo Moretto, Juventus and Inter are both showing an interest in signing Jonathan David (24) from Lille in the January transfer window. The Canadian international forward’s contract at the Stade Pierre Mauroy is set to expire in June 2025 and his future looks set to be away from Northern France.

Juventus are eager to recruit the 24-year-old. Despite David’s contract having less than a season left, the Bianconeri want to bring the Lille attacker to Turin in the winter window. The Serie A club are not alone in their interest. Inter have also had discussions with the former Gent forward’s entourage and consider him as a potential transfer target as they look to bolster their attacking options.

No summer move

David appeared to be on his way out in the summer transfer window but no move materialised. The Canadian striker was not without interested suitors though. Premier League clubs Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur were reportedly interested in the 24-year-old but no offers were submitted.
