Juventus confident about sealing move for Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo | OneFootball

Serie A giants Juventus are confident about sealing a move for Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo and are likely to close the deal in the next two days.

La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Giovanni Albanese has reported that Juve have convinced Araujo about the move and are ready to accept Barcelona’s conditions for the transfer. It will be an initial loan move with the optional obligation to buy the centre-back permanently.

Araujo’s contract at Barcelona expires in 2026 and attempts to renew it have failed some months back. The player has already expressed his desire to join Juve and is waiting for an approval from the Catalans about the transfer to go through. He will have certain objectives to meet to trigger the obligation to buy option.

Barca are also said to be willing to accomodate Juve’s demands and there has always been a willingness from both parties to find an agreement.
