Juventus will leave no stone unturned to replenish their defense in January and might knock at Milan’s door to inquire about Fikayo Tomori, who has lost his spot in the XI in recent weeks. The two teams arranged Pierre Kalulu’s loan last summer, which helped the Bianconeri tremendously.

According to TuttoSport, the Englishman isn’t pleased with the situation and will evaluate his future in January. He had a subpar start to the season and has been benched after his teammates at the position got healthy. He started just twice in the last ten matches and has been an unused sub on seven occasions.

Should Juventus offer more playing time, Tomori might jump at the opportunity since he’d face less competition. He’s been hurt by the rise of Matteo Gabbia and Malick Thiaw and has to tussle for minutes also with Strahinja Pavlovic.

The Bianconeri are looking for somebody they could get on an initial loan. They won’t have the funds for a permanent acquisition until they complete a sale. They are in advanced talks with David Hancko, but they aren’t sure Feyenoord will let him go midseason. Cristiano Giuntoli could double-dip in the role and allow Danilo to leave.

Our Take on Juventus and Tomori

He’d be a nice reclamation project and a good bet to bounce back after a change of scenery, as it’s a bit unclear what has been going on with him this season. Perhaps he’s one of those players who performs well only if he perceives complete trust from the coach. Milan will perhaps consider partying ways with him, but they can’t possibly gift another good player to the Old Lady.
