Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer was subbed off after six minutes against RB Leipzig last night and reports in Italy claim that the Brazilian likely suffered a knee ligament injury.

Bremer will undergo medical tests in Turin this morning, but the Bianconeri fear their star defender sustained a cruciate ligament injury in the opening minutes of an away Champions League game in Leipzig last night.

Italian sources, including Gazzetta, claim Bremer probably suffered a cruciate ligament injury.

The Brazilian centre-back started in all Juventus games this season, helping the Bianconeri keep six clean sheets in six Serie A matches.

Bremer was replaced by Italy international Federico Gatti in Leipzig last night.

The Bianconeri are expected to release an official statement today following Bremer’s medical tests.

Their next Serie A game is at home against Cagliari.
