Only a few days ago, there were not a lot of changes expected in the FC Barcelona team in this January transfer window. The Catalans were looking to retain all of their players to ensure Hansi Flick was not short of options in this crucial second half of the season, while their financial conditions also ruled out any new signings for them.
However, since their return to the 1:1 rule at the start of this year, the Blaugranes are now linked with several moves in this transfer window. In fact, there has also been a lot of transfer speculation about one of their important players, i.e., Ronald Araújo, who can leave the Catalan club in the coming few days.
This seems to be the case from a report published by Juve FC, which claims that the Italian club Juventus has already agreed personal terms with the player, and they now only have to come to an agreement with FC Barcelona to materialize this move.
These negotiations with the Blaugrana side might also not be impossible, as they are now open to parting ways with the 25-year-old Uruguayan defender as he has not yet agreed to a contract renewal and his current contract expires in 2026.

Furthermore, his importance in the team has also declined this season as Iñigo Martínez and Pau Cubarsi have established themselves as the starting center-backs under Hansi Flick as Araújo was injured for the entirety of the first half of the season.
As a result, Juventus are optimistic that this move will go through, even though they are yet to finalize the financial terms for such a potential move. Right now, Araújo seems to be their most realistic option to replace the injured duo of Bremer and Cabal, after they struggled to sign another defensive target, Antonio Silva.
