Juventus progress in new deal for Weston McKennie | OneFootball

Serie A giants Juventus have seen versatile star Weston McKennie impress this season and they are now making progress in handing him a new deal.

The USA international was on the scoresheet for the Bianconeri against PSV Eindhoven and has been a vital player in multiple positions this season.

Giovanni Albanese has now confirmed that Juve are holding talks over a new deal for the midfielder. Unlike last year, when McKennie’s demands were said to be too high from the off, things are much more promising and both parties are willing to find a solution.

Talks are progressing over a renewal and there is confidence that a deal could be done soon and things can reach a positive conclusion.

The player had rejected a move to Aston Villa in the summer and a lot of it was due to his wage demands. But Juve wanted the sale because his contract was running out in the summer of 2025. Things are much different now.
