Liverpool entertained Southampton at Anfield earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win in the FA Cup. The Reds made a solid start to the game and managed to get their noses ahead thanks to Lewis Koumas’ deflected effort in the 44th minute. Jurgen Klopp‘s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Jayen Danns came off the bench and scored a quick-fire brace as Liverpool ran away with a comfortable 3-0 win tonight.

The Greek full-back was a positive influence in both halves.

He was full of energy and running but struggled to get a foothold in the game.

Gomez anchored the midfield with conviction but lacked quality in the Southampton half.
